Position Available: Part-Time Intern
The Nepalese Community of Saskatoon is thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to join our team as part-time interns for our Kids Program – Ramailo Summer Quest. This program is designed to enrich the lives of children through engaging activities, including yoga sessions and exciting excursions, all made possible through generous grant support from the Community Initiatives Fund.
Role: Intern (Part-Time)
Duration: June to August 31, 2024
Expected Hours: 6 hours per week
Compensation: $25 per hour
Job Description:
• Collaborate with NECOS executives to plan and execute enriching activities for children.
• Facilitate and assist in yoga sessions tailored to children’s needs and abilities.
• Support the coordination and supervision of excursions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Requirements:
• Genuine interest in working with children and promoting their holistic development.
• Enthusiasm for yoga and its benefits for children’s physical and mental well-being.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
